Alveolus - An opening in your jaw-bone in which a tooth is attached.
Amalgam - The controversial material (made up of Silver and Mercury) used for plugging holes in teeth (aka fillings).
Anesthetic - A drug used to put a patient (or part of a patient) "to sleep", whilst performing surgery so that the patient does not feel any pain or discomfort during the procedures.
Aspiration - The use of a miniature vacuum system (called an Aspirator) to remove saliva from the mouth whilst performing dental surgery.
