Dr Charles Lister BDS(U.Lond), MFGDP(UK), DPDS(U.Brist)

Qualified- 1979 BDS with Honours in Dental Surgery, at Kings College Hospital, London.
Vocational Training 1980.

Student at the LD Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami. [Visit www.pankey.org] It involves 8 weekly residential programmes at regular intervals. Course 3 of 8 completed 1998. Course IV completed October 2000 and Continuum V scheduled for November 2001

Passed Membership at the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) at the Faculty of General Dental Practice of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, in 1994. This is the new, nationally recognised General Dental Practice qualification.

Completed "Clinical Foundation for Orthopaedics and Orthodontics" training programme under Dr Skip Truitt, Clinical Director of Dallas, Ft Worth in 1994.

Passed Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies at the University of Bristol.1997, (The 3 year distance learning programme ~50 hours per year) each year.

Kathryn Baron

Fondly known as “Kat”, she is our trainee DSA and is currently doing her formal training through the new NVQ programme.

Kat joined us in February 2004, and came to us from the MOD. There she worked as an admin officer dealing with many high ranking officers and with that very cheeky smile of hers won then all over!

Since joining the practice she has become an excellent nurse and has an extremely kind and caring nature which certainly fits well within a dental practice that prides itself in caring for very nervous patients.
 

Rebecca Shields

G’Day!!! Yep you guessed it Rebecca is Australian and comes all the way from that little corner of Oz called Tasmania.

Rebecca is our Senior Nurse and joined us in May 2005. She qualified in Australia and brings with her four years of experience working in high profile private practices in her home town and in Sidney. She is extremely efficient in the running of both our surgeries and her wonderful Ozy charm wins the patients hearts.

The only down side is the typical British weather does not agree with her very warm disposition!

Management

Julie Keay

Behind any successful business, somebody has to keep the financial and administrative wheels turning, and the eminently capable Julie Keay is our lady behind the scene and from time to time she has been seen out and about managing the front desk. On the more rare occasions however she may be seen running around Salisbury in her lunch hour trying to keep fit!

Julie is also a qualified Dental Nurse with over fifteen years experience and her skills are sometimes required in the surgery when dealing with complex cases. She has in the past worked on some rather unusual creates and such as Lions, Tigers and even Elephants whilst working for Peter Kertesz, in London, who is also an animal dentist.

Front Desk Welcome

Jo Wall

Your first port of call when contacting the practice is Jo Wall, our bright and breezy full time receptionist, who eagerly awaits your call whether to book an appointment or just to answer any questions you may have about The Practice, or the treatment we provide. Before becoming our receptionist Jo was in fact a patient of the practice but liked us so much she joined the team!

She comes to us from an admin background but she also has a colourful background in Art & Design and Floristry, which we plan to put into great use when we expand our practice.
